Our ukraine, byut left chamber of parliament in sign of protest

The factions of Our Ukraine and BYuT left the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada as a sign of protest against actions of the coalition, and call on President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko to dissolve the parliament.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, lawmaker Oleh Liashko (BYuT) called on President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko from the rostrum of parliament to issue a decree, dissolving the Verkhovna Rada.

Tymoshenko discloses differences between the opposition and coalition

Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc leader claims that three issues remained unresolved between the opposition and coalition. “The first one is that the coalition tends to adopt the Law on the National Deputy Status in such an edition which favours corruption in Parliament.”
The second issue is the Communists’ demand to set a voter turnout threshold of 50%.

“Elections disruption is much harder task than their holding,” she said in a Tuesday interview.
“To disrupt elections now is as a difficult task as pushing a large stone ahead.”

Ukraine's main opposition leader, former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko, said on Saturday a deal to hold a snap parliamentary election proved the ex-Soviet state could solve its problems peacefully and press on with reforms.
But Tymoshenko, the most ardent advocate of a new election, said "orange" groups backing President Viktor Yushchenko would run separately in the coming poll as a tactic to amass more votes.

Leader of Ukraine's opposition Yulia Timoshenko has urged the authorities to stop any negotiations and conduct early parliamentary elections on June 24 in compliance with the presidential decree.
She believes that the talks between President Viktor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich within the framework of the working group ``bring the situation to a standstill.''
