“We want these European experts, monitoring the
situation in the gas market openly and transparently,
to see all the steps the previous government took and
our present government is taking. To give them an
opportunity, working directly within the NJSC
“Naftogaz of Ukraine”, to ascertain that Ukraine is a
reliable partner in providing gas transit to the
territory of the EU member-states,” the Prime
Minister stressed.
Yulia Tymoshenko told that today the Government would appeal to international organizations dealing with financial monitoring with the purpose to check up movement of financial flows of “RosUkrEnergo” and “Ukrgaz-Energo” companies. We will appeal for international aid because as a result of a complicated internal political situation and a situation the NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” faces today it will be very difficult for Ukraine to regulate this problem without international support,” she noted.
