Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said that positive and constructive solutions were found to all problems during talks in Russia.

She announced this to journalists on Wednesday following talks between the Ukrainian and Russian government delegations in Moscow.

“We went over practically all the problems that Ukraine and Russian need to solve today, and I can firmly say that there is not a single problem for which we did not find a positive, constructive and absolutely effective solution,” said Tymoshenko.

Yulia Tymoshenko is also initiating holding a session of the Ukrainian-Russian Intergovernmental Committee for Economic Cooperation in April of this year.

Yulia Tymoshenko reminded that as of today, there are 11 subcommittees in the Intergovernmental Committee, and that following the meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, it is important to intensify the work of these subcommittees. The Ukrainian Prime Minister also proposed creating another subcommittee on ecology.

Yulia Tymoshenko believes that Ukraine and Russia could significantly intensify their cooperation in aviation construction. “We have enormous potential, and when the world is becoming one huge trading ground, we are obligated to direct all the power of our cooperative relations on achieving a concrete goal,” underscored the Head of Government.

The Prime Minister suggested that each side set priorities to be approved during the Committee session in April.

Yulia Tymoshenko believes that the change to targeted planning in the framework of the Ukraine-Russia Action Plan will allow for the intensification of bilateral cooperation.

Tymoshenko stressed that Ukraine is ready to resume cooperative relations with Russia.
