“There is no such practice in the world when a
consumer comes with his/her balances. Always, all
countable systems, meters etc. used to be installed
by those who supply an article,” the Prime Minister
of Ukraine noted.
“Next week I want to see in the Verkhovna Rada a bill envisaging term and responsibility of private owners for supplying consumers with 100% meters in order to see what we are selling. And this, by the way, means investments. Nobody promised to hand oblenergo over to the private property without any conditions,” she added.
Yulia Tymoshenko also commissioned the Cabinet members to complete and submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill which establishes responsibility and obligations of monopolistic energy supplying systems and envisages a clear regulatory function of the state.
