Message: I have been trying to keep track of the gas talks between Ukraine and Russia. At first I was worried that the initial deal between Yushchenko and Putin would be a continuation of the corrupt gas transit system that came about in 2006, just under a different veil. However, I was proud to see that you and your party were able to hold your ground and remove the corrupt intermediaries. BYUT should truly be commended for helping Ukraine move out of the dark and into the light.
